They can be designed in such a variety of ways, are super tasty and also a real eye-catcher! Of course, we’re talking about Cake Pops! We’ll show you how to make the small colorful balls yourself:
Preparation time: in total approx. 45 minutes Servings: for approx. 50 pieces
Ingredients:
150 g butter, room temperature
150 g sugar
1 pk. vanilla sugar
2 eggs
1 pinch of salt
300 g flour
2 tsp, heaped baking soda
250 ml milk
200 g couverture, brown or white
Sugar sprinkles for decorating
Preparation:
For the base dough, stir the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs until frothy. Then, add flour, salt, baking powder and milk and stir until smooth.
Preheat the Cake Pop machine and fill the dough into the baking pan using a piping bag. The Cake Pops are ready after about 7 minutes and you can carefully take them out of the machine to let them cool down.
After the dough has cooled down, pierce the stems into the Cake Pops and dip into the melted couverture. Drain them nicely so that the chocolate layer does not become too thick. As long as the chocolate has not dried you can decorate the Cake Pops with colorful sprinkles.
Our recommendation: The stems hold better if they have been dipped in chocolate before being pierced.
