Melon and Ham Salad

Preparation time: approx. 20 minutes

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 1 Honeydew melon
  • 8 thin slices of ham (e.g. Serrano)
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • Mixed fresh herbs
  • Salt and pepper

 

    Preparation

    Wash the herbs and pluck the ham into bite-sized pieces. Core the melon, scoop out the flesh and cut into thin slices. Mix the vinegar and olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

    Arrange the melon slices on plates. Arrange the ham and herbs on top and drizzle everything with the marinade.

    The salad can be garnished with coarse salt and coloured peppercorns and edible flowers for visual appeal.
