Preparation time: approx. 20 minutes + 25 minutes baking time
Ingredients for approx. 4 servings:
1 loaf (approx. 500 g)
200 g cheese of your choice
80 ml olive oil
3 cloves garlic

Salt
Pepper
Preparation:
Cut the bread deeply in two directions to make many small squares or rectangles. Be careful not to cut through the bread, the bottom of the bread should remain intact. Then pull the bread apart a little and fill the spaces with cheese. Heat the oil on a low heat in a small saucepan and add the chopped garlic. Remove from the heat or it will become bitter. Finely chop the spring onion and add to the oil and garlic mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place the bread on a baking tray lined with baking paper and spread the oil mixture evenly over the bread with a brush. Then place the bread in the oven at 180 °C convection oven for 20 to 30 minutes until the cheese has melted nicely.
After serving, simply pull the rectangles out of the loaf with your fingers.
