A classic at every meal are of course sandwiches, which can be made individually according to your own taste. Not only the toppings, but also the different types of bread you can choose from make every sandwich simply delicious! Whether for breakfast brunch, lunch or a quick dinner, it's easy to make. Two different variations to try out:
Cut the cucumber, salami, red onion and, of course, the bread with an electric slicer. The other ingredients, such as the dill and chives, are best chopped. Remove the smoked salmon from the packaging and dab dry, wash the rocket. Then place all the ingredients on the work surface and start making the sandwiches.
Spread the first three slices with a dollop of crème fraîche, then top with the smoked salmon, a drop of lemon juice on the salmon, the nicely sliced cucumber slices on top - now salt and pepper and top with dill and chives if you like.
The other three slices are first topped with the rocket, then the sliced/ringed red onions, followed by the salami. Now drizzle the balsamic cream on top and it's ready.
TIP: If you like it crispy, you can put the bread slices in the toaster or in the oven for a short time beforehand and then enjoy the bread nice and crispy and warm.
