Ice cream sandwich: our ultimate summer dessert with fluffy waffles

To make the waffles, put all the ingredients together in a large bowl and whisk to a smooth batter.
Heat and grease the waffle iron for heart-shaped waffles, pour in the batter and bake to the desired degree of browning. Then leave to cool completely and divide into individual hearts.
Take the ice cream out of the freezer, cut open the packaging on one of the short sides and cut the ice cream into slices approx. 1.5 - 2 cm thick. cut. Then place the heart waffle on top and smooth all around with a knife. Place a waffle on the other side to form a sandwich. Return to the freezer immediately and chill until ready to serve. Repeat until the ice cream and waffles are used up.
Garnish with fresh fruit, maple syrup, chocolate chips and serve!
