Peel and dice the onion. Wash and clean the peppers and cut them into large pieces. Now set the appliance to the SAUTÉ level, select 30 minutes and let it preheat. When the temperature is reached, sauté the diced onion together with the oil until translucent.
Then add the meat and sear it on all sides. Add the pepper pieces, paprika powder and tomato paste and stir well. Pour in the stock, add the bay leaves and salt and pepper. Then put the lid on and lock it. Select the MEAT/STEW programme, set the STEAM PRESSURE LEVEL to 8 / 50 minutes and let it start.
At the end of the programme, release the remaining steam and carefully open the lid. Stir the flour and water until smooth. Set the SAUTÉ level and add the flour mixture to the goulash, stirring constantly. Allow to thicken to the desired consistency, season to taste and serve with ribbon noodles or bread dumplings, for example.
