Bruschetta is certainly a classic appetiser! No wonder, because the Italian delicacy impresses with crusty bread and a wonderfully fresh topping. This recipe pimps the well-known bruschetta "con pomodoro e basilico" with creamy burrata. Try it out, it's sooooo delicious!
Wash the tomatoes & cut into small cubes. Peel the onion and cut into very fine cubes. Squeeze two cloves of garlic.
Now put everything in a bowl and season with salt and pepper from the mill - and leave to stand for 5 minutes. Then stir in the olive oil.
Wash the basil, shake dry and chop finely. Then mix into the tomatoes.
Cut the ciabatta into about 12 slices, drizzle with a few drops of olive oil and rub with the last clove of garlic. Place on a baking tray and bake for about 8 minutes until crispy.
Meanwhile, crush the burrata. Once the slices have cooled slightly, top with burrata and tomato mixture and serve.
