Croffles with strawberries and cream

Croffles = croissants + waffles!

If you can't decide whether to have croissants or waffles for breakfast, you'll love our new recipe, because Croffles combine both.
All you need for this food trend is a ready-made croissant dough, a waffle iron and toppings of your choice! In our recipe, we show you how to easily make croissants with a moist chocolate centre. We combine strawberries and cream... Bon appétit!

Preparation

Step 1

Remove the croissant dough from the roll and cut into triangles along the perforated lines. Roll two pieces of chocolate into each croissant and twist the ends inwards and press them together a little.

Step 2

Heat the waffle iron while washing and quartering the strawberries. Then whip the cream.

Step 3

Once the waffle iron is heated, place a croissant in the centre of each one and bake until golden brown. Serve each with strawberries and a dollop of cream.
