Clean the strawberries, remove the stalks, cut into pieces and place in a bowl with the preserving sugar and lemon juice and leave to infuse for 30 minutes. This step is important, otherwise the mixture will be too dry.
Meanwhile, wash and drain the basil leaves.
After the infusion time, add the fruit mixture together with the basil to the VDM 2 and start the "Corn" programme.
Then pour into clean glasses and leave to cool.
This recipe is perfect for making small portions of fruit.
