Vegetable rice

As the perfect start to March, we have a recipe for you that is not only super healthy, but can also be prepared without much effort. We describe how to make vegetable rice yourself here.

Preparation

Step 1

First cook the long-grain rice in the rice cooker until soft. Meanwhile, bring the stock to the boil in a separate pot.

Step 2

Now peel the fresh onions and chop finely. Peel the fresh carrots and cut them into thin slices. Then wash the chillies, halve them, remove the seeds and dice them finely. Then clean, roast and slice the mushrooms.

Step 3

Now sauté the onion cubes in a deep pan with a little oil for about 5 minutes before adding the rest of the vegetables. Fry for another 5 minutes and then deglaze with the stock. Cook without a lid for approx. 15 minutes until soft.

Step 4

Once the rice is cooked, fold it into the vegetables. Stir in the curry powder and cream and season with salt and pepper.
