As a true cheese lover, you should melt the whole block of cheese right away!
First, buy the cheese block and the few other ingredients as you like. It is advisable to get potatoes and two other types of vegetables as well as a tasty ciabatta or white bread. Then everything is prepared in about 20 minutes. Wash and peel the potatoes, then boil them in salted water for about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the other vegetables into thin slices or strips and place them in a bowl on the set table. Also place the RC 210 here and place the block of cheese on the melting plate. Switch on and then place the potatoes on a plate on the table as well. Once the top layer is lightly browned, you can scrape it off and enjoy - simply a dream!
But that's not all! While your cheese is slowly melting away, vegetables can be grilled on the raclette oven (of course, also finely chopped meat). The combination of the small grill tray and the cheese platter guarantees a feast for the palate.
Tip:
When choosing a cheese block, the following should be taken into account: the longer the cheese is matured, the more aromatic it becomes. Mozzarella, Camembert, mountain cheese, Tilsiter or Edam taste even better when melted. If you like it really savoury, put Gorgonzola or sheep's/goat's cheese on top.
