This unique dessert will send your taste buds into ecstasy: Coffee panna cotta with caramel sauce!
Our heavenly creation combines the rich flavours of delicious coffee and is perfectly balanced with a tempting caramel sauce. A real treat for the palate, perfect for cosy evenings at home or as the crowning glory of a festive dinner.
Firstly, soak the gelatine in cold water and leave to soak.
Combine the cream, cooled filter coffee and sugar in a pan and heat while stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Remove the pan from the heat and add the soaked gelatine. Stir well until the gelatine has completely dissolved.
Then stir in the vanilla extract and divide the panna cotta evenly between dessert glasses and leave to set in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Preparation of the caramel sauce
Caramelise the sugar and water in a small pan over a medium heat, stirring constantly. Keep an eye on it. that the sugar browns evenly but does not burn.
As soon as the caramel has a golden colour, carefully stir in the cream.
Now simmer the sauce for a further 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
Then remove from the heat and add a pinch of salt. Stir well and leave to cool. Now garnish the panna cotta with the caramel sauce and serve!
