Coconut prawns with Sriracha dip

We are absolute fans of fancy and delicious starters! With our recipe for coconut prawns with Sriracha dip, you can whip up crispy prawns covered in a tropical coconut coating in no time at all:

Preparation

Step 1

For the dip, peel and press the garlic clove. Then mix with mayonnaise, Sriracha and lime juice and leave to infuse.

Step 2

Mix the egg with the buttermilk and flour until smooth. In a second bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the coconut flakes and spices. Meanwhile, preheat the deep fryer to 200 degrees.

Step 3

First dip the prawns in the liquid batter, let them drain and then roll them in the coconut flakes.

Step 4

Place in the hot air fryer and drizzle or spray with oil. Cook for approx. 5 minutes and then turn over, then cook for another 5 minutes.

Serve with the dip at the end.
