Immerse yourself in the world of Mexican cuisine and treat yourself to a slice of Tex-Mex flavour!

Preparation

Step 1

Firstly, peel the onion and garlic and cut into small cubes.

Step 2

Heat a pan with a little oil and fry the onion until translucent.

Step 3

Then add the garlic and mince, season to taste, e.g. with salt, pepper and paprika powder, and fry until browned. Then add the strained tomatoes, beans and sweetcorn, bring everything to the boil and simmer for approx. 15 minutes over a low heat, stirring occasionally. Season the sauce if necessary.

Step 4

Now line the basket of the air fryer with some baking paper and place the nachos in it, spread the sauce evenly over the nachos. Add a few dollops of crème fraîche and sprinkle everything with cheese.

Step 5

Bake for approx. 5-8 minutes at 160 degrees in the air fryer.

Step 6

Meanwhile, wash the spring onions and cut into small rings.

Step 7

Once the nachos are ready, garnish with more dollops of crème fraîche and the spring onions and serve!

  • 1 bag of tortilla chips
  • 200 g minced beef
  • 150 g strained tomatoes
  • 1/2 tin of kidney beans
  • 1/2 tin of sweetcorn
  • 100 g crème fraîche
  • 50 g grated cheese, e.g. cheddar
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • approx. 2 sprigs of spring onions
  • Set, pepper, paprika powder to taste
