Everyone loves fluffy, crispy waffles! You can eat them savoury or sweet, whatever your heart desires. Whether with a sophisticated topping or classic with icing sugar. We have prepared a recipe for Belgian waffles for you:
Beat the egg whites until stiff. Cream the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Add the egg yolks and beat until the sugar has melted.
Mix the flour and baking powder, sieve and add alternately with the milk and mix. Then stir in the mineral water.
Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites. Bake in a waffle iron.
Tip: Sprinkle baked waffles with icing sugar, add a few fresh raspberries and some maple syrup.
