Neapolitan pizza dough - quick recipe

Neapolitan-style pizza is literally on everyone's lips at the moment.
No wonder, because a really good Neapolitan pizza seduces with its light and airy crust. With our quick recipe you can easily prepare an authentic dough in just 1.5 hours - get ready to knead dough!

Preparation

Step 1

Pour the water into a bowl and dissolve the fresh yeast in it.

Step 2

Next, add a third of the flour and stir until the flour has bound the water. Repeat this process with the remaining two thirds of the dough until the flour is completely kneaded in. At the end, the dough should be smooth and elastic.

Step 3

Now turn the dough out onto the work surface, add the sea salt and knead the dough properly again. Then shape the dough (in the bowl) into a ball, cover with a cloth and leave to rest for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Then, place the dough on the work surface and knead for 10 minutes. Afterwards, divide into two halves and knead each half again for approx. 5 minutes. Next, shape the halves into 4 balls.

Step 5

Place a clean kitchen towel on a baking tray and dust with a little flour. Put the balls on top, cover with a damp cloth and leave to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Thereafter, you can roll out the dough an prepare your Neapolitan-style pizza .
