"Granola" is on everyone's lips at the moment. But this term actually means nothing more than homemade crunchy muesli. Making granola yourself is an absolute muesli trend at the moment - and rightly so: on the one hand you save money and don't have to buy it expensively, on the other hand you have the possibility to prepare it exactly the way you like it best.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (fan oven: 160 degrees) and cover the baking tray with baking paper.
Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Now add honey and oil and mix with the rest of the ingredients. Ideally, there should be a little oil and honey on each flake and nut.
Spread the mixture evenly on a baking tray and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. Then mix everything well and bake for another 10 minutes.
Attention: In the last 3-4 minutes, keep checking on the granola - depending on the ingredients, it may darken quickly.
After baking, leave to cool completely on the tray and then store in an airtight container. The granola will stay fresh and crunchy for up to 2 weeks.
