With this recipe, we'll show you how to make super tasty smashed potatoes from ordinary plain potatoes in no time at all.
With their delicious crust of fresh herbs, garlic and Parmesan, these special kind of potatoes are the perfect accompaniment to grilled food, but can also be enjoyed as a meal in their own right!
Wash the potatoes (do not peel!) and boil in salted water for 25 minutes. Then drain and leave to cool slightly.
In the meantime, brush a baking tray with a little olive oil and set aside. Wash the rosemary, shake dry, pluck the sprigs and chop finely. Now heat the butter, rosemary and garlic in a small pan and set aside.
Place the potatoes on the tray with some space between them and mash them with a glass or pot. Bake in the oven for approx. 10 minutes at 200 degrees. Then take out briefly and brush with the garlic and rosemary mixture. Bake for another 10 minutes until the edges are nice and crispy.
Remove the tray and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese - and enjoy!
