Solero jam

You've never had a jam like this before!

Our Solero jam combines the flavours of fruity mango and exotic passion fruit and brings back memories of summer on a cold autumn or winter day.

 

And the best part is that you can easily prepare it by yourself!

 

Preparation

Step 1

First peel the mango and remove the flesh from the stone, then cut into large pieces and put into a blender. Add the passion fruit nectar and puree everything.

Step 2

Halve the vanilla pod and scrape out the pith with the back of a knife.

Step 3

Place the puree in a saucepan and add the preserving sugar and vanilla pulp. Bring the fruit mixture briefly to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for another 5 minutes. If foam forms, skim it off with a skimmer.

Step 4

Now pour the hot, liquid jam into three clean screw jars (approx. 250 ml each). Screw on the lids tightly and leave to cool.

 

Well sealed and stored in the dark, the homemade Solero jam will keep for at least 6 months.
