Vegetarian Fondue

Dive in and enjoy! Fondue is very popular, especially in nice company, and everyone can choose and enjoy as they please. We have a vegetarian recipe for you to go with it.

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the flour, beer and oil into a smooth dough. Mix in the eggs, salt and pepper and leave the dough to rise for about half an hour.

Step 2

In the meantime, wash, peel and chop the vegetables. Blanch the carrots, broccoli and cauliflower for about 5 minutes beforehand and arrange everything in bowls.

Step 3

Heat the fat in the fondue pot. Skewer the vegetables as desired on fondue forks, dip them in the beer batter and fry them in the hot fat until the batter is crispy.

  • 2 peppers
  • 1 broccoli
  • 1 cauliflower
  • 2 courgettes
  • 250g mushrooms
  • 200g tofu
  • 1 kg fat (e.g. coconut fat)
  • 2 eggs
  • 250g flour
  • 200 ml beer
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • Salt, pepper
