Especially in the cold season, heating and air conditioning systems dry out the air in the room. To feel comfortable in a room, the relative humidity should be around 40 to 60 percent. If it is significantly lower, you will quickly notice a scratchy throat and dry mucous membranes. This is not only unpleasant, but also provides ideal conditions for pathogens to grow. Electric helpers provide a quick remedy if the air is too dry. The Steba LB 8 air humidifier even has ultrasonic nebulisation up to max. 300ml/h. One of the three speed levels can be set on the LED display via touch control. The desired humidity can be selected between 30 and 90 percent. The LB 8 humidifier also has a 12-hour timer. A ceramic filter softens the water, while a safety shut-off is activated if there is no water. But with a water tank of 5.5 L, this should not happen too often.
