Before grilling, coat the grill plate with a thin layer of oil to make it easier to lift the food off the grill for turning. Before placing the food on the grill, preheat the appliance for approx. 5 - 10 min. at full power with the lid closed.
Rinse the prawns in cold water and pat dry. Wash the lime in hot water and rub dry. Wash the lemon leaves and pat dry. Cut into corners. Thread 2-3 prawns with lime wedges and lemon leaves alternately onto skewers.
Season the skewers with salt and pepper and grill in hot oil for approx. 5 minutes on all sides. Mix the mayonnaise and crème fraîche. Peel and press the garlic. Season the dip with lemon pepper. Serve the dip with the skewers.
