Chickpea and walnut burger

Who says burgers can't be fantastic without meat?

 

With our delicious chickpea and walnut burger, we prove you wrong! In just 20 minutes, you can conjure up juicy burger patties with a mixture of creamy chickpeas and crunchy, flavoursome walnuts that will delight you! Top your burgers with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and avocado as you like, and voilà - an incredible treat for every palate!

 

These meat-free burger patties are not only a feast for the taste buds, but also a healthy alternative to classic burgers.

 

Preparation

Step 1

Firstly, put the chickpeas, walnuts, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika powder and parsley into the food processor and process into a coarse mixture.

Step 2

Season the mixture with salt and pepper and shape into burger patties.

Step 3

Fry in a pan with a little oil on both sides until golden brown.

Step 4

Serve on burger buns and top with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado and sauce as desired - and enjoy!
