Of course, you can still simply grill your salmon fillet whole, wrapped in aluminium foil. But you can also dice it, marinate it and enjoy it as grilled salmon skewers with lemon:
Rinse the salmon fillet thoroughly and pat dry. Then cut into thick cubes. Peel the garlic and wash the spring onions. Then cut the garlic into pieces and the spring onions into rings.
Then put both in a bowl with the olive oil. Add the mustard and dill. Wash both lemons, slice one, halve the other and grate the zest. Squeeze the juice from one half. Add both to the marinade.
Add sugar, salt and pepper to the marinade and mix thoroughly. Then brush the salmon cubes with it and marinate in the fridge for about 1 hour.
Take the salmon cubes out of the fridge and put them on the skewers. There should be 3 pieces of salmon on each skewer. If desired, place a slice of lemon between the cubes.
Now brush the salmon skewers again with a little oil and grill for approx. 8 minutes, turning regularly.
