Our Teriyaki marinade goes perfectly with chicken, turkey, beef or pork, but also with salmon.
The quantities for the marinade can vary greatly depending on how much food you want to marinate and how big your bowl is. The only important thing is that the food is completely covered with the marinade.
First, pour plenty of soy sauce into the bowl in which you want to marinate the grilled food.
Then, mix cornflour with sesame oil in a separate bowl and add the mixture to the soy sauce to thicken it slightly.
Afterwards, add honey, garlic, pepper and a little sambal olek if desired.
Now, massage the teriyaki marinade into the grilled food and leave it to marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour before putting it on the grill.
